Privacy Policy

LeadsSetu ("we", "us", "our") is a lead management platform for businesses that advertise on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and talk to customers on WhatsApp. It captures leads from your Lead Form ads and WhatsApp conversations into one pipeline, and reports the outcome of those leads back to Meta on your behalf. This policy explains what data we handle and why. "You" means the business that creates a LeadsSetu account. Business address: LeadsSetu, 584, Sector 33, Hisar, Haryana, India.

1. Information we collect

• Account details you provide: business name, your name, email address, phone number and password (stored hashed).
• Lead data that you or your connected channels create: a lead's name, phone number, email, the course/product/service of interest, pipeline status, follow-up notes, and conversion details such as the fee agreed.
• WhatsApp messages sent to the business number you connect. We keep the message text and sender's number to create and update the lead.
• Meta account data that you authorize when you click "Connect with Facebook": the Pages, WhatsApp Business accounts, ad accounts and datasets you choose, and the access tokens needed to use them. See section 4.
• Billing records: plan, amount, dates and payment references. If you pay online, card or bank details are handled by our payment partner and never stored by us. If you pay by UPI or bank transfer we keep only the transaction reference.
• Usage data such as login activity and feature usage, to keep the product secure and working.
• Marketing-site analytics: our public website (not your CRM account) may use cookies and a tag manager / Meta Pixel to measure visits to our own marketing pages.

2. How we use it

We use this data only to run the service for you: to keep one free trial per business (your mobile number), to help you set up on WhatsApp, to show your leads and pipeline, remind your team about follow-ups, produce your reports, send conversion events to Meta for the pipeline stages you choose, process billing, provide support and keep the platform secure. We do not sell your data or your leads' data, and we do not use it to advertise to you or your leads.

3. Data sharing

We share data only with the services needed to run the product: Meta Platforms (WhatsApp Business Platform, Lead Ads and the Conversions API, based on the permissions you grant) and, where you pay online, our payment processor. Conversion events sent to Meta contain a one-way hashed phone number or email and the event name you configured, so Meta can match it to the person who responded to your ad. We may also disclose data when required by law.

4. Meta permissions we request, and why

LeadsSetu asks for the following when you connect Facebook. We use each one only for the purpose listed, and only for the assets you select.

• whatsapp_business_management, whatsapp_business_messaging — connect your WhatsApp Business number and receive messages sent to it, so each new conversation becomes a lead.
• pages_show_list, pages_read_engagement, pages_manage_metadata — list your Pages and subscribe the selected Page so Lead Form submissions are delivered to your pipeline.
• leads_retrieval — read the details of a Lead Form submission (name, phone, email and form answers) that you received on your Page.
• business_management, ads_management — find your business, ad account and dataset, and send conversion events to the dataset you pick. LeadsSetu does not create, edit or delete your ads and does not change your budgets.
• public_profile — identify the person who is connecting the account.

Data we receive from Meta is used to provide these features to you and for nothing else. You can disconnect at any time (Settings → Connect Meta → Disconnect), which immediately deletes the stored access tokens, and you can also remove LeadsSetu from Facebook under Settings → Business Integrations.

5. Data retention & deletion

We keep your account data while your account exists. After a free trial ends we keep your data so you can pick up where you left off. You can ask us to delete your account and all lead data at any time; we complete deletion within 30 days. Step-by-step instructions are on our Data Deletion page. Billing records may be kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires.

6. Security

Passwords are hashed, access is protected by login and role-based permissions, and Meta access tokens are stored encrypted. Each business can only see its own data. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and remove team members who no longer need access.

7. Your responsibilities for your leads' data

You are responsible for having the right to contact and store information about your leads, and for using WhatsApp and Meta in line with their policies. If a person asks you to delete their data, you can delete their lead record from your pipeline, or ask us to help.

8. Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold about you or your account. Write to support@leadssetu.com from your registered email address.

9. Children

LeadsSetu is a business tool and is not intended for people under 18.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a meaningful way we will update the date above and, for material changes, notify account owners by email.
